Combination

Combination skin is characterized by varying skin types across different areas of the face, typically with an oily T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) and drier cheeks. This imbalance is caused by uneven sebum production, often influenced by genetics, hormones, and environmental factors. To identify combination skin, look for shine or breakouts in the T-zone and dryness or flakiness in other areas. The best approach is to tailor treatments: use a gentle cleanser, lightweight hydrating products for drier areas, and oil-control formulas like salicylic acid for the T-zone. Avoid harsh products that can exacerbate both dryness and oiliness.
