Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Cream (2023)

This cream is amazing. I had developed eyelid eczema a few years ago and this was the first cream someone had recommended to me for sensitive skin. It does not irritate me at all. After about a year using this cream and a few other products in the Soon Jung line, my eczema became almost non existant. Along with sensitivity, my skin is also dry with oily T-zone, and this cream moisturizes very well without being thick. I'm still using this cream to this day since it has kept my skin balanced!

I have oily acne prone skin, but I got this product initially to treat dry patches under my eye. Vaseline/aveeno/other moisturizers didn't do anything, but after a few times of using this moisturizer - it completely replenished that skin and it was no longer dry and it never came back. From then on, I just use this as a regular moisturizer on my face now. It's thick but it's not heavy and makes my skin feel moisturized all day. A little goes a long way too!

Not my holy grail. I have dry and sensitive skin and since I'm currently using retinol and it's not thick or moisturizing enough. May be better suited for oily or combo skin or a summer moisturizer.
It is also more a lotion consistency not a thick cream (compared to Dr Jart's ceramidin).

My skin has never looked better! I don't have severe acne or anything but my skin has always had a little bit of acne all the time and I think this is the calmest my skin has ever been. It's become clear that the remaining acne on my skin is simply caused by stress everywhere else is even and soft. I wish this came in a larger size and that it wouldn't sell out as often because I want to use this for the rest of my life!

Even though this is a pretty thick moisturizer, I found that it’s not sticky and my skin absorbs it right away! Although it requires a few layers for me during winter, I would totally recommend it during the fall, spring, and summer seasons
