Believe the hype. Seriously, if you get anything on this website, get this. It works for almost every skin type so long as your are not allergic to any of the ingredients that are in it. I’ve been using it since 2019 and it continues to be one of my favourites. Having it on Skin.to is a lifesaver because I used to order it from the US, which was A LOT. It’s worth every penny though. If you have irritated, acne-prone, dry, oily, dehydrated skin or any of the combination of those, you would benefit from this serum. Especially if you’ve tried a lot of acids that have maybe had the averse effect. This will help heal any situation and it’s truly one of the products I can no longer live without in my skincare regime.

I started using this in the winter after hearing good things about it and while I loved the product for its performance whenever I used it ad hoc to my routine, let me tell you how this serum came in clutch:

During the shoulder season before warm-weather spring, I travelled to Montreal from Vancouver. My skin was starting to feel that east coast wind rash and extreme dryness throughout the duration of the trip despite upkeeping moisturizing, a hydrating serum and SPF.

During the flight home and the first couple of days after the flight, my skin was not happy. I honestly looked like a lizard moulting and going into shed. Peeling, shedding, sensitive and patchy.

I stripped down my skincare routine to a gentle cleanser and thick moisturizer exclusively to rebuild, but it wasn't helping and my skin was getting worse. The first night I added this serum to the routine and holy batman it improved everything overnight. Been using this serum with my routine for the remainder of the week and it has improved my skin's hydration, barrier, and hyperpigmentation (bonus!!).

For cost and value, I know I'm getting more effort out of this over your usual serums from Sephora or other major retailers and would choose this over the others without hesitation.

I can't stress enough how much this has changed my skin. It lightens pigmentation and acne scars so effectively while being moisturizing that I don't even use vitamin C anymore. It has tamanu oil which is not in enough products but is really a great ingredient. Also the price here really can't be beat, I remember paying $20 more from somewhere else.
